Job summary

The Catering Bartender is an Aramark location in Seattle responsible for providing outstanding guest service from arrival to departure, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and applying established alcohol service policies.

You will display hospitality and beverage knowledge, handle transactions, manage setup and breakdown, and work within client requirements. This role requires a flexible schedule and Washington state certifications, with a positive team attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• Liquor, beer, wine and mixology knowledge required.
• Washington State Food Worker Card and Washington Alcohol Server Card (MAST) required.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• English language communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
• Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification for minimum age
• Adheres to cash handling policies
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
• Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
