Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a bartender who will prepare beverages for guests in the bar and restaurant, ensuring service standards are met and orders are recorded accurately. You will support servers and maintain a clean, stocked bar area, while upholding safety, sanitation, and efficiency throughout shifts.

The role requires knowledge of beverages, glassware, and liquor regulations, with a focus on guest engagement, upselling, and teamwork across outlets.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of beverages, recipes and correct glassware and garnishes.
• Knowledgeable and ensure compliance of all state liquor regulations.
• Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
• Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurants, in accordance with service standards.
• Take Guests’ food and beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
• Record orders of guests into the point-of-sale system and receive payment following service procedures.
• Open wine/champagne bottles and serve in accordance with service standards.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
