Hilton Garden Inn Temple/Medical Center in Temple, TX seeks a Bartender to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, serve guests, and support bar and restaurant staff for smooth operation.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of hotel/restaurant bar experience, is 21+, and can work flexible shifts. Knowledge of beverages, garnishes, glassware, safety procedures, and liquor regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a barback or bartender in a hotel or restaurant.
• Must be at least 21 years of age; flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
• Knowledge of state liquor regulations and proper glassware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bars and restaurants per service standards.
• Take guests' orders and upsell using suggestive selling techniques.
• Set up bar according to standards; maintain cleanliness and stock.
• Record orders in POS and handle payments per procedures.
• Open wine/champagne bottles and serve per standards; assist bar back to ensure service.
• Follow all safety procedures and cooperate with other departments.
