Job summary

Troon, owner of Bonita National Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL, seeks a seasonal, full-time Bartender for The Pool Cafe. You will stock, mix and serve beverages, handle cash with POS, and support event service as part of a fast-paced hospitality team.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of bartending experience; 21+ to serve alcohol. Benefits include healthcare and 401(k) with employer match.

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, and assist in inventory control.
• Maintain inventory records and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Handle guest requests and concerns with the Department Manager.
• Perform opening/closing duties including cash controls and POS transactions.
• Review banquet schedules and assist at events.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serve meals to guests and practice safe work habits.

Bonita National Golf & Country Club, located in Bonita Springs, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal, Full-Time Bartender at The Pool Cafe! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records
• Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
• Perform opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system
• Review banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars
• Occasionally serve meals to guestsIncorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol

Other Qualifications:

Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
