Job summary

The Barnett in New Orleans is seeking an experienced bartender to prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and deliver outstanding guest service in a bustling hotel bar environment.

You will greet guests, take orders, and make recommendations while maintaining bar cleanliness and stock. A high school diploma is required, with bartending certification preferred and at least 1 year of bar experience.

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. This role ensures accurate drink preparation, maintains bar cleanliness, promotes responsible alcohol service, and contributes to a welcoming and efficient bar environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
