Job summary

St. James Live in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Service Bartender to support fast-paced bar operations during shows. You will prepare drinks quickly, keep the bar stocked, and ensure high-quality service for servers and guests.

This part-time role requires energy, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a loud, music-driven environment. Prior high-volume bartending plus knowledge of cocktails and beer is preferred; 21+ and local certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or high-volume service bar experience preferred.
• Strong ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
• Solid working knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain local alcohol-service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for servers according to venue recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout shifts.
• Manage incoming drink tickets efficiently to ensure quick turnaround times in a high-volume setting.
• Perform opening and closing duties including restocking, cleaning, and setup/breakdown of the bar.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or restock needs to the Bar Manager.
• Adhere to all responsible alcohol service laws, venue policies, and safety guidelines.
• Support fellow bar and server team members during high-volume periods as needed.
• Assist with batch prep, bar turnover in between shows, and replenishing bar supplies.
• Provide consistent quality control and ensure all beverages meet presentation and recipe standards.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude in a fast-paced, music-driven environment.

Position Summary

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain any required local alcohol-service certifications.
