Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.

Schedule and Pay Range: Bartenders primarily work during lunch and dinner hours. This is a variable hour, non-exempt position below minimum wage, tipped.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take beverage/food orders from guests and beverage orders from servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Learn guests' names and recognize regular guests.
• Record drink orders accurately into the register system.
• Accept payments, process credit card charges, and make change if applicable.
• Wash and sterilize glassware and prepare garnishments.
• Maintain bottles and glasses attractively and functionally.
• Clear and reset tables in the bar area.
• Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about beverages and food.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
• Serve food orders at the bar.
• Answer phones and provide excellent guest service.
• Report equipment and maintenance issues to the manager.
• Assist as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Have knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and drink recipes.
• Possess basic math skills and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).
• Reach, bend, lift up to 40 pounds.
• Hold a valid Alcohol Server and Food Handlers Certification.
