Esplanade at St. Marys in St. Marys, GA, is seeking a Full-Time Bartender to join Troon’s hospitality team. The role focuses on serving beverages, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with state liquor laws.

You will manage cash with POS, support opening/closing duties, and assist with banquet events and catered parties. Must have at least 1 year bartending experience, be 21+, and know cocktail recipes and wine varieties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year bartending experience or training.
• Must be 21+ years old to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages; assist in inventory and cost control.
• Maintain inventory records and monitor supplies; communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Assist guests and relay requests to the Department Manager.
• Perform opening/closing duties including cash handling and POS use.
• Review banquet schedules and serve at catered events.
• Occasionally serve meals to guests.
• Adopt safe work practices.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include but are not limited to inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales (POS) System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
