Job summary

World of Golf in Florence, KY is seeking a part-time bartender for a seasonal role. This position will last up to 6 months and offers $10.00 per hour. A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience are required, with preferred familiarity using restaurant POS systems.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation

$10.00 per hour

General Purpose

• Makesand serves guests delicious beveragesin accordance withestablishedstandards and with hospitality and professionalism.Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages,assistsin cost control, inventory andmaintainsinventory records.
• Assistsdepartment leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
• Assistsdepartment leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with managementin a timely mannerwhen supplies are needed.
• Ensurecompliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicatesguest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limitedtoinventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, andspecial events.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Onoccasionwillservemeals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties asrequired.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g.POSITOUCH and MICROS)

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells andsits.Frequentlylifts upto 25 pounds.Occasionally maylift upto 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses

ServSafeCertified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
