Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Springfield, proudly managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is seeking a Bartender to join our fast-paced, guest-focused team. You will take and deliver orders, craft drinks, and ensure accurate payments while upholding safety standards.

You’ll work with hotel departments on events and daily operations, keep a clean workspace, and communicate clearly with guests to exceed expectations. Weekend availability and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain required permits or certificates.
• Up to 40 hours per week with varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Summary:

This position is responsible for taking and delivering orders, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, processing guest payments, and ensuring compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, organized work area, collaborate with hotel departments to support events and daily operations, and consistently deliver outstanding hospitality that exceeds guest expectations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional customer service are essential.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to obtain any government‑required or brand‑required permits, licenses, or certificates. Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Must be available to work weekends.
