Job summary

Troon is seeking a part-time Bartender at Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club (Vue on 30A) in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. You will provide beverage service to guests and members, mixing drinks and maintaining the bar area.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of bartending experience and a passion for hospitality. Must be of legal drinking age. Healthcare and retirement benefits are offered to eligible staff, reflecting Troon’s commitment to its team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience.
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies.
• Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment.
• Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed.
• Collects payment for drinks served.
• Greets and provides immediate attention to guests.
• Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them.
• Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available.
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
• Adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Compensation

$12.00 per hour

Summary

Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for hospitality. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences through beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property. Previous bartending experience is required for the position.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable
