Silver Creek Valley Country Club, part of Troon, seeks a driven Bartender in San Jose, CA. This part-time role rewards enthusiasm, precise drink execution, and guest-focused service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You’ll mix cocktails, verify IDs, handle payments, balance receipts, and build rapport with guests while contributing to a welcoming bar atmosphere. Must be 21+ with at least 1 year of bartending experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.

Silver Creek Valley Country Club, located in San Jose, CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay

$18.45 - $35.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails
• Process payment from customers
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposit
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol

Other Qualifications

Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
