Job summary

Punch Bowl Social in San Diego is looking for Bartenders to join a vibrant team focused on guest experiences and craft beverage service. You will work behind the bar with colleagues to deliver memorable moments, uphold brand standards, and manage orders using Aloha POS in a dynamic environment.

Training will cover beverage programs and service steps, with emphasis on teamwork and cash handling while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Qualifications

• Must value guest experiences and take pride in everything you do.
• Exhibit the right attitude and strong communication.
• Comfortable talking with strangers and working as a team.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/bar is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team behind the bar to create memorable guest experiences.
• Uphold the beverage program with knowledge of brand standards and craft service.
• Follow steps of service to meet brand expectations.
• Use Aloha POS for entering orders and processing payments.
• Sanitize the bar top and guest service areas every 30 minutes.
• Wash barware dishes and rotate shifts as Bar Backs.
• Manage cash properly and accurately.

What you’ll be doing:

• - Working as a team behind the bar to create memorable guest experiences
• - Uphold the integrity of the beverage program with a high level of knowledge on brand standards, technique, and expectations in craft beverage service
• - Follow steps of service to meet brand standards
• - Uses Aloha POS for entering orders/processing payments
• - Cleans and sanitizes the bar top and guest service areas every 30 minutes
• - Washes all barware dishes
• - Rotates shifts as Bar Backs
• - Responsible for proper cash management

*** Must be 21 years old and over ***

Paid Sick Leave is limited to 40 hours (5 days) for the year and maximum is 80 hours (10 days).
