Job summary

The Granite Grill in Richmond, Virginia is hiring bartenders to join the opening service team of this new full-service restaurant. We seek energetic, friendly, and attentive team players who love creating memorable dining experiences.

Bartenders will undergo training to master our service steps, menus, and company values, with an opening targeted for the end of October. Bartenders are the face of the restaurant and will craft cocktails, take orders, and deliver high-quality service while

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to evenings, weekends, and at least 3 shifts per week.
• Must be 21+ and able to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet bar guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Create a convivial bar atmosphere.
• Provide menu knowledge and thoughtful recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Create cocktails according to recipes.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Handle payments and operate at the bar smoothly.
• Assist with bar setup, cleaning, and pre-bussing during shifts.
