Job summary

Workstream is seeking a bar professional to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and to provide courteous service to restaurant guests. You will prepare beverages, slice garnishes, and assist with opening/closing side work while maintaining a friendly, upbeat atmosphere at the bar.

Responsibilities include relaying orders to the kitchen via POS, handling guest checks, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment.
• Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
• Must obtain or possess and/or obtain a valid food handler’s card prior to employment.
• In Oregon must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements

1. Stands entire shift.
2. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other staff members.
3. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and lift bus trays, tubs, and glass racks frequently weighing 25 pounds.
