Job summary

Workstream in New Berlin, WI is seeking a friendly bartender to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and to serve food with courteous, timely service. You will interact with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and perform opening/closing side work, garnishing drinks and handling payments.

You’ll convey orders to the kitchen via the POS system and help with cleaning tasks as needed. The role requires the ability to stand, lift up to 15 pounds, and obtain a food handler’s card; in

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment.
• Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
• Must obtain or possess and/or obtain a valid food handler’s card prior to employment.
• In Oregon must obtain OLCC Liquor permit within 30 days of hire.
• Must be 21 years of age.

1. Stands entire shift.
2. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other staff members.
3. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and lift bus trays, tubs, and glass racks frequently weighing 25 pounds.
