BENCHMARK is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Bartender to join the team at the StateView Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of bartending experience and a current certification. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for guests, maintaining the bar, and preparing drinks with exceptional attention to detail.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer‑focused Bartender for the StateView Hotel (Marriott Autograph Collection) to deliver memorable hospitality and create engaging connections from greeting to departure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and maintain the bar setup.
• Guide guests through the beverage menu using descriptive selling.
• Take orders accurately and confirm all special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits, and provide menu recommendations.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Resolve guest concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Finalize the experience with timely and accurate bill presentation.
• Requisition and stock bar supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, fruit, juices, garnishes, and other perishables.
• Prepare drinks according to standard recipes and maintain portion control.
• Input orders into the point‑of‑sale system and create checks for guests.
• Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment; deposit cash drops; secure the bank.

Qualifications
