Ritual House is a trendy restaurant concept located in the Historic Union Trust Building in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. We specialize in Elevated American cuisine with global influences, a dynamic hand crafted cocktail program, a vibrant atmosphere, and a truly unique dining experience.

JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Ritual House Bartenders will create hand crafted, hand shaken cocktails in an energetic and vibrant setting. In addition, to a robust bar program, our full menu will be available in our bar and lounge. Our bartenders are always organized, calm, and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure their guests have the best experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welcoming guests with a smile and encouraging repeat guest visits

Building specialty cocktails according to recipes set forth

Stocking bar with appropriate alcohol, mixes, garnishes, and glassware

Delivering food and drink orders to guests in a timely and courteous manner

Communicating regularly with and responding promptly and courteously to all guest requests

Providing exemplary service to include refilling beverages and clearing the bar top and tables

Responding sincerely and appropriately to guest requests

Practicing alcohol awareness and exercising good judgment when serving guests alcohol in compliance with local laws

Thanking guests and inviting them back when leaving as well as inquiring about their dining experience

Performing opening and closing duties

Maintaining a professional, composed, and calm demeanor always

Embracing a culture of genuine hospitality

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to carry at least 30 lbs.

Ability to reach, bend, squat and lift while on the shift

3 years full-service restaurant experience preferred
