Job summary

Tin Roost in North Liberty is seeking experienced part-time bartenders to join our team. As a locally owned restaurant with a scratch kitchen, we value friendly, dependable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver a great bar experience.

Fully trained bartenders earn $4.35 per hour plus tips, with tips paid nightly. Schedule includes Wednesday through Sunday availability; part-time options and open availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Professional, positive attitude under pressure.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with friendly, attentive service
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings and menu items
• Accurately prepare drinks for both bar guests and dining room service
• Deliver consistent, high-quality hospitality throughout each shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work
• Process guest payments accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and fellow bartenders
• Assist with additional operational duties as needed
