Job summary

30hop Restaurant & Bar in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking friendly servers to join our front-of-house team. We welcome both experienced servers and those looking to build skills, with a fast-paced environment and a team that supports one another.

Fully trained servers earn $4.35 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with 4–8 hour shifts and evening/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous serving experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and carry trays.
• Must obtain Iowa alcohol server certification (I-PACT) within 30 days of hire.

We're looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy connecting with Guests and working in a fast paced restaurant environment. Whether you have years of serving experience or are looking to build your skills, you'll be part of a team that works together to provide friendly, attentive service throughout every shift.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We're known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• 4-8 hour shifts
• Availability needed from 4:00 PM to close Monday through Friday and throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays

What You'll Do

• Welcome Guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Help Guests with menu selections and answer questions about food and beverages
• Accurately enter orders and communicate with the kitchen and bar teams

• Anticipate Guest needs and address concerns professionally
• Process Guest payments accurately
• Keep dining areas clean and organized
• Reset tables and complete side work, stocking, and opening or closing duties
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Work with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy shifts
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
