Job summary

Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach, CA seeks a full-time Bartender to craft cocktails and serve members and guests. You’ll maintain a clean bar, manage stock, and ring up orders while delivering exceptional hospitality.

Since opening for play in 1971, Big Canyon has earned recognition as one of the nation’s most prestigious clubs. In 2026, the golf course was restored by Andrew Green, one of the industry’s most respected, and sought-after restoration specialists. Bartender (Full Time)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for members and their guests while making adjustments and recommendations accordingly
• Ensuring bar station is fully stocked and clean
• Ringing up charges for members’ beverages throughout the day
• Informing supervisory of any major incidents as quickly as possible
• Uphold high standards while preparing large influx of orders

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of various mixed drinks and alternatives to varying alcohol/allergy options
• Ability to create craft cocktails required
• 1 year of Bartending experience preferred
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Must work cooperatively and professionally with other departments
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
• Ability to perform physical job duties while working on feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
