Job summary

OfCorsica, a Mediterranean restaurant by Little Island, seeks an experienced bartender to craft cocktails, showcase wine knowledge, and deliver warm hospitality to guests at the bar. You will create memorable beverage experiences, engage guests in conversation, and maintain a clean, efficient bar area.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a high-volume setting, strong knowledge of spirits and wines, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as bartender in a full-service, high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine; Mediterranean wine knowledge a plus.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Must be fluent in English and able to operate a POS system efficiently.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create classic and signature cocktails with consistency, speed, and artistry
• Provide warm, informed, and elevated guest service in line with OfCorsica's hospitality values
• Maintain full knowledge of all beverage offerings, including wines, cocktails, spirits, and beer
• Offer thoughtful recommendations and guide guests through wine and drink pairings
• Support beverage-focused sales goals, upsell specials and promotions, and engage in brand storytelling
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with laws and company policy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, bar tools, and storage areas
• Restock product, prepare garnishes, and execute opening, closing, and side work duties
• Handle all payment transactions accurately and in line with company cash handling procedures
• Report equipment issues, low inventory, or guest concerns promptly to management
• Participate in training, tastings, and team meetings to strengthen product knowledge and service skills
