Job summary

Naperville Country Club in Naperville, IL, is seeking a full-time Bartender to join Troon's hospitality team. This role is fast-paced, customer-focused, and critical to delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences for members and guests.

You will stock, mix and serve beverages, manage cash and POS transactions, follow liquor laws, and support inventory and events. The position offers learning opportunities, tips, and growth within a global golf and community management company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year bartending experience or training.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol per state law.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties; Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar and serve alcoholic beverages; assist in inventory and cost control.
• Maintain inventory records and communicate stocking needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicate guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Perform opening/closing duties including inventory, cash handling, and restocking.
• Operate the POS system and manage cash transactions.
• Review banquet schedules and assist with events and catered parties.

Naperville Country Club, located in Naperville, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for afull-time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Rate: $15 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Bartender:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
