Job summary

Naperville Country Club, part of Troon, seeks a full-time Bartender in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will stock, mix and serve beverages, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with liquor laws while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, at least 21, and one year of bartending experience or training. Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and Alcohol Awareness Training are preferred. Tips are expected to supplement hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control and inventory.
• Maintains inventory control and notifies management when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash handling, cleaning, and restocking.
• Operates POS system for checks and transactions.
• Reviews banquet schedules and serves catered events.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Adheres to safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as required.

Naperville Country Club, located in Naperville, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for afull-time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Rate: $15 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Bartender:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
