Job summary

SSP America operates several restaurants inside General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, WI. We are hiring Bartenders to work at multiple restaurants within the airport, offering $6.00 per hour plus tips and full-time benefits.

Our bartenders engage guests with craft beverages and attentive service, while staying current on beverage trends. The job involves fast-paced service, precise order entry, and teamwork in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• One year bartending experience required with applicable certification.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and alcohol.
• Verbal and written English fluency.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English for taking orders.
• Basic math to operate cash register and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them into the POS system accurately.
• Receive payment from customers and make change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks and food items to guests.
• Move supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Keep the work area clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils and dispose of trash properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SSP America operates several restaurants throughout the General Mitchell International Airport located in Milwaukee, WI.

We are currently hiring for Bartenders to work at Multiple Restaurants located inside the General Mitchell International Airport.

At SSP America, our Bartenders enjoy engaging with our guests while serving hand-crafted beverages and delicious food. Our bartenders are up-to-date on trends in the alcoholic beverage industry. They have experience crafting beverages and serving them with attention to detail. Our restaurants are fast-paced and our bartenders can work quickly with accuracy and deliver outstanding customer service without breaking a sweat!

Here is a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Bartender

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure that the work area is clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, removes trash, sweep and mop work area, dust and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Has

• Minimum of 21 years old
• One year bartending experience required, including certification by state, federal, or local required training program.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Verbal and written English language
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand weights and measurements.
