Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from customers, make change and total guest checks.
• Serve drinks (cold, frozen, hot) and food items while maintaining guest service.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Keep the work area clean and organized; sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring for Bartenders to work at Multiple Restaurants located inside the General Mitchell International Airport

At SSP America, our Bartenders enjoy engaging with our guests while serving hand-crafted beverages and delicious food. Our bartenders are up-to-date on trends in the alcoholic beverage industry.They have experience crafting beverages and serving them with attention to detail.Our restaurants are fast-paced and our bartenders can work quickly with accuracy and deliver outstanding customer service without breaking a sweat!

Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Bartender

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure that the work area is clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, removes trash, sweep and mop work area, dust and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position has:

• Minimum of 21 years old
• One year bartending experience required, including certification by state, federal, or local required training program.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Verbal and written English language
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand weights and measurements.
