Job summary

Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is seeking an experienced Bartender to serve beverages at Café, Bar, Lounge, Strand, and In-Suite Dining outlets in a fast-paced setting.

You will prepare drinks, manage the bar area, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding safety and service standards. The role requires 21+ and 3–4 years of experience; English fluency is essential and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have 3-4 years' bartender experience in a high-traffic restaurant.
• Thorough knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.
• Must read, write and speak English; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort recipes and standards.
• Process orders through the POS system before beverage preparation.
• Wash and sterilize glasses; maintain clean bar surfaces and storage areas.
• Keep bottles and glassware organized and within reach to support efficient service.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies; ensure par levels.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and safety standards.
• Assist fellow servers when needed to ensure smooth operations.

I. Job Summary

Primarily responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the Café, Bar, Lounge, Strand, and In-Suite Dining outlets.

II. Essential Job Functions

• A. Prepares both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort recipes and standards.
• B. Prepares beverages only after items have been rung in through the POS system.
• C. Washes and sterilizes glasses.
• E. Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation.
• F. Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
• G. Creates requisitions to return bar to par at end of night.
• H. Reports all equipment problems and bar maintenance to management.
• I. Assists in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• J. Adheres to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• K. Ready and willing to assist fellow servers and/or server assistants as situations arise.
• L. Available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by management.
• M. Adheres to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort standards for guest service.
• N. Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort guest problem resolution policy.
• O. Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
• P. Performs other job-related duties as directed.

III. Education, Experience and Skill Requirement

• A. Must be at least 21 years of age.
• B. Must have at least 3-4 years' experience as a bartender in a high traffic restaurant.
• C. Must have thorough knowledge of mechanical skills necessary required to prepare and mix beverages.
• D. Must have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.
• E. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• F. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• G. Must possess a personable, cheerful demeanor, be well groomed and be able to remain calm under pressure.
• H. Must be able to work flexible hours, lunch and or dinner shifts, weekends and holidays.
