ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Greet guests and provide them with a fun and exciting experience.
• Have working knowledge of our menu with the ability to pair beer and cocktails with menu items.
• Expert ability to craft cocktails according to San Pedro Fish Market recipes.
• Follow city, state, federal, and Company guidelines for serving alcoholic beverages, without fail. Ask
patrons for identification to validate age, and be vigilant about reporting (known or suspected)
invalid ID’s to management. Do not serve anyone who cannot provide valid identification. Diligently
watch for underage drinking. Do not overserve any guest. Immediately notify management if you
have concerns about enforcing these regulations, if a guest is overly intoxicated, or any other issues.
• Ability to handle and accurately operate a POS system.
• Promptly address guest service issues and refer guests to management when necessary.
• Keep bar area clean and orderly.
• Perform opening, closing and side work ensuring that the opening and closing checklists are
accurately and efficiently completed.
• Comply with all city, state, federal and Company food and beverage regulations, alcohol control
policies, sanitation guidelines, and safety policies. Promptly report violations or concerns to
management.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED AND WORKING CONDITIONS

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year related experience in a similar work environment.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Card and RBS certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand an extensive variety of work-related instructions and
documents pertaining to Company operations, safety, finance, HR, and payroll.
• Basic math skills and the ability to manage cash, process credit cards, and work the cash register.
• Basic computer skills, including Internet use, E-mail, and typing skills.
• Ability to use the Company’s timekeeping system and point of service system.
• Ability and willingness to learn and apply new work skill sets and concepts.
• Working knowledge of city, state, and federal hospitality laws and regulations.
