OUR STORY

Since 1979, Little Italy Ristorante has been more than a pizza place—it’s been a cornerstone of Groveport, built on family, integrity, and community. What began as a local grocery store became a gathering place where scratch-made recipes, familiar faces, and genuine care came together. Passed down through generations, our mission has always been the same: hire great people, serve unforgettable food, and give back to the community that made us who we are.

IS THIS ROLE FOR YOU?
  • Do you love creating a vibe that makes people want to stay for just one more round?
  • Are you equal parts quick-hands, quick-wit, and warm hospitality?
  • Do you take pride in your bar setup, your pours, and the smiles you create across the counter?
  • Are you energized by a fast pace and calm under pressure when the rush hits?
  • If you’re nodding yes, you might be the next Bartender at Little Italy Ristorante.
WHY JOIN LITTLE ITALY?

Bartending at Little Italy is more than making drinks—it’s about delivering connection, atmosphere, and memorable moments in every shift.

What Makes Us Different:
  • Legacy-Driven, Future-Focused – Honoring our roots while building something worth owning—for guests and team alike.
  • We’re Bigger Than a Booth – Community events, media moments, food truck experiences—our brand lives beyond the dining room.
  • People First, Always – We grow team members into leaders and treat every shift as a chance to build careers, not just paychecks.
Benefits:
  • 401(k) with 50% employer match up to 6% (after one year)
  • New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, (paid, full-time) & your birthday off, automatically
  • 1 week of paid time off (full time)
  • Paid sick leave (full-time)
  • Daily employee meal
  • 25% employee discount for you and your party
  • Career growth opportunities
  • The opportunity to grow quickly with a forward-thinking company that regularly reinvests in itself and its people
  • Attendance at fun, “State of the Company” events three times a year
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • 1. Create a Welcoming Atmosphere Greet guests warmly at the bar, provide menus, and offer an experience that’s personal and engaging.
  • 2. Craft Excellent Beverages Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistently and with flair, following recipes and responsible service guidelines.
  • 3. Keep the Bar Running Smoothly Maintain a clean, organized work area; manage inventory; and uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • 4. Collaborate with the Team Work with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Jump in where needed to support the flow of the shift.
  • 5. Be a Go-To Expert Provide menu knowledge, make pairing suggestions, and help guide guest decisions. Handle transactions accurately and confidently.
WILL YOU FIT IN HERE?

We’re not building a team—we’re building a legacy. Our restaurants run on values, not vibes—and if you don’t live these values, you won’t last long. These aren’t just words we shout in a huddle. They’re who we are, what we expect, and how we lead.

  • You’re Built to Serve. You find joy in helping people. Whether it’s a guest, a coworker, or a stranger—we don’t walk past problems, we solve them with heart. If the words “That’s not my job” live rent-free in your brain, this ain’t it.
  • You Care Like It’s Yours. You treat the business, the space, the product, and the people like you own it. Details matter. You don’t walk over a mess, you clean it. You don’t ignore a bad guest experience, you fix it. That’s ownership.
  • You’re All-In. You show up on time, you show up with energy, and you don’t half-ass the mission. You take feedback, push yourself, and do things the right way, even when no one’s watching. Especially then.
  • You Stay Open. Egos get checked at the door. You’re coachable, curious, and willing to learn from anyone. You don’t need to be the loudest, just the most growth-minded.
  • You Bring the Fire. You show up with positive energy, team spirit, and enthusiasm. Guests feel it. The team feeds off it. We don’t do dull here—we bring the vibe every shift.

And if that’s not you? If you’re just looking for a clock-in-and-coast gig, or if you like drama, excuses, or hiding behind “that’s how I’ve always done it”—this won’t feel good. And that’s fine. We’re not for everyone. But if you’re about getting better, serving hard, and building something bigger than yourself—then welcome home.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages
  • Confident with POS systems and cash handling
  • Strong communication and hospitality skills
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late nights
  • Must be of legal drinking age with any required local certifications
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY MATTERS
