Full-Time | Salary Based on Experience + Quarterly Bonus Potential is based on sales, profitability, and completion of special projects.
Since 1979, Little Italy Ristorante has been more than a pizza place—it’s been a cornerstone of Groveport, built on family, integrity, and community. What began as a local grocery store became a gathering place where scratch-made recipes, familiar faces, and genuine care came together. Passed down through generations, our mission has always been the same: hire great people, serve unforgettable food, and give back to the community that made us who we are.
Do you believe leadership means growing people, not just managing shifts?
Are you driven to build teams that thrive together—and hold each other to high standards?
Can you balance financial acumen, operational execution, and deep care for your team and community?
Are you excited to help scale a company with heart, history, and an eye on the future?
If you're nodding yes, you might be the next General Manager at Little Italy Ristorante.
We don’t just lead restaurants—we build places where people belong. As GM, you’ll carry the torch of our mission: to create meaningful, memorable hospitality and invest in the people who make it happen.
1. Develop and Lead the Team
Hire, onboard, and coach new associates. Deliver feedback and recognition. Build leadership capacity through training and clear expectations. Foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
2. Ensure Operational Excellence
Oversee daily operations, staffing, and shift coverage. Lead opening/closing procedures, enforce cleanliness and safety standards, and ensure compliance across all areas of execution.
3. Drive Hospitality and the Guest Experience
Champion the Legacy Experience Process: Welcome with Purpose, Serve with Intention, Deliver Excellence, Create Moments, and Build Loyalty. Lead by example and empower your team to do the same.
4. Grow Sales and Manage Profitability
Own the P&L. Hit targets on COGS, labor, waste, and inventory. Forecast sales and schedule labor accordingly. Identify opportunities to build guest count and increase average ticket.
5. Scale Our Legacy and Represent the Brand
Execute brand initiatives, roll out systems, and lead new product launches. Represent Little Italy in the community and with external partners. Be the face of the culture—and the force behind the results.
This position is full-time, with a semi-set schedule designed around the demands of the restaurant. This position will work the busiest shifts of the week, based on daily forecasted sales and special events. Days off are typically back-to-back. Our General Manager will work 5 days, and typically 50-ish hours per week.
We’re not building a team—we’re building a legacy. Our restaurants run on values, not vibes—and if you don’t live these values, you won’t last long. These aren’t just words we shout in a huddle. They’re who we are, what we expect, and how we lead.
You’ll fit right in if this sounds like you:
You’re Built to Serve.
You find joy in helping people. Whether it’s a guest, a coworker, or a stranger—we don’t walk past problems, we solve them with heart. If the words “That’s not my job” live rent-free in your brain, this ain’t it.
You Care Like It’s Yours.
You treat the business, the space, the product, and the people like you own it. Details matter. You don’t walk over a mess, you clean it. You don’t ignore a bad guest experience, you fix it. That’s ownership.
You’re All-In.
You show up on time, you show up with energy, and you don’t half-ass the mission. You take feedback, push yourself, and do things the right way, even when no one’s watching. Especially then.
You Stay Open.
Egos get checked at the door. You’re coachable, curious, and willing to learn from anyone. You don’t need to be the loudest, just the most growth-minded.
You Bring the Fire.
You show up with positive energy, team spirit, and enthusiasm. Guests feel it. The team feeds off it. We don’t do dull here—we bring the vibe every shift.
And if that’s not you?
If you’re just looking for a clock-in-and-coast gig, or if you like drama, excuses, or hiding behind “that’s how I’ve always done it”—this won’t feel good. And that’s fine. We’re not for everyone. But if you’re about getting better, serving hard, and building something bigger than yourself—then welcome home.
Little Italy Ristorante is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We’re committed to creating a team that reflects the community we serve and building a workplace where everyone feels welcome, respected, and supported.
