Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager, the Bartender provides friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional guest experience. The mission of the H-F Park District is "to enhance the quality of life through diverse recreational opportunities, facilities, and parks while caring for the environment".

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a guest focus.
2. Take and prepare beverage orders, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
3. Learn and recognize regular guests by name.
4. Record orders accurately and process payments.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and supplies.
6. Present menus, recommend beverages, and answer guest questions.
7. Serve food and drinks to guests at the bar and social areas.
8. Report equipment issues and restock inventory as needed.
9. Ensure all safety policies are followed and attend staff meetings.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current BASSET certification.
• Minimum of one year bartending experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle cash transactions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform other physical tasks.
