The Hilton Fairfax in Fairfax, VA is seeking an experienced Mixologist/Bartender to join the restaurant team. You will prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, and act as a cashier for the lounge.

Hourly rate is $12/hour plus tips. Full-time team members are eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, disability insurance, paid vacation, and other benefits.

Formación

• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks and manage cash drops.
• Must be able to verbally communicate with hotel guests and fellow team members.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use garnish tools, glassware and bottles, and to scoop ice.
• Constant standing and walking; frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, and smiling.

The Hilton Fairfax is looking for an experienced and friendly Mixologist/Bartender to join the restaurant team. Bartenders prepare and serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. Bartenders prepare beverages for other server to supply to guests, and act as cashier for the lounge. Bartenders must be familiar with the restaurant menu and offerings to prepare drinks accurately and be able to answer guest questions.

Hourly rate for this position is $12/hour plus tips.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
• Must be able to verbally communicate with hotel guests and fellow Team Members
• Sufficient manual dexterity in hands to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
• Constant standing & walking required.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
