Job summary

Westmoreland Country Club in Export, PA is seeking a full-time Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will learn quickly, contribute to a fast-paced bar operation, and grow within a leading golf-and-community management property.

Responsibilities include bar stocking, beverage service, POS handling, inventory, and adherence to state liquor laws. Prior bartending experience preferred; must be 21+ with knowledge of cocktails and wines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control and inventory.
• Maintains inventory records and notifies management when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties: inventory, cash handling, cleaning.
• Uses the POS system for transactions.
• Reviews banquet schedules and events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.

Westmoreland Country Club, located in Export, PA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Bartender:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
