Job summary

The Village Dallas is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused bartenders to create memorable experiences for guests in a high-energy, camaraderie-driven atmosphere. You will prepare beverages, know the menu, keep the bar clean, and collaborate with servers to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualified applicants are friendly, team-oriented, organized, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. TABC and Food Handler’s certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or related preferred.
  • Current TABC and Food Handler’s certification.
  • Knowledge of POS systems.
  • Friendly, courteous, and well-spoken.
  • Works well within a team environment.
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible.
  • Motivated to grow and learn new and innovative food and beverage techniques and recipes.
  • Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently high level of guest service.
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards in an efficient manner.
  • Possessing and utilizing knowledge of all offered restaurant menus.
  • Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift and be able to account for any and all discrepancies.
  • Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the guests at the bar and in the dining room always satisfied.
  • Must work in partnership with servers to deliver a seamless guest experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
