Job Summary

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
2. Sets up bars, stocks all necessary supplies including beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, and glassware.
3. Maintains stock and prepares garnishes, juices, and perishables.
4. Greets guests courteously.
5. Processes drink orders, mixes and garnishes drinks, and practices portion control.
6. Checks IDs for alcohol service.
7. Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, demonstrating liquor law knowledge.
8. Handles cash, verifies charges, and records transactions.
9. Secures beverage products, food, equipment, and cash deposits.
10. Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
11. Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
12. Washes and sterilizes stemware.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
