Summary

The ideal Bartender candidate must have previous food service and cocktail experience within a similar role, possess a hands-on approach, be an excellent communicator, ensure customers are served promptly and courteously, and comply with hygiene and safety regulations.

Essential Functions

• Create, mix, and serve beverages to clients, maintaining a friendly, pleasant, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling food and beverages.
• Process cash and credit card payments.
• Maintain and replenish bar stock as needed.
• Ensure patrons are of legal drinking age before serving alcohol. Monitor guests' alcohol intake and prohibit service to intoxicated guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glasses, and utensils.
• Comply with federal, state, local, and all legislative and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of bartending experience in restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment management in bar service.
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility with varying schedules to meet business needs.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull stock, chairs, and tables up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
