Job summary

Blumenthal Arts is looking for a Bartender in Charlotte, NC to provide excellent customer service at bars during events. You will set up bars, serve patrons, maintain cleanliness, and assist in training new bartenders.

Job description

Position Summary

Under occasional supervision, provides customer service for sales at Blumenthal Performing Arts operated bars. Assists in training new bartenders. Reports to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up bars prior to events including checking inventory and properly stocking products
• Provide excellent customer service during events by serving patrons at bars
• Receive payment and accurately dispense change
• Perform inventory and match receipts with product sold
• Follow Company and State rules governing safe alcohol service
• Participate in sales programs and customer service goals with enthusiasm
• Continually keep work area neat clean and organized
• Assist in training new bartenders
• Attend department meetings if needed
• Perform related duties as required

Job Qualifications

• Formal training in bartending related field, or two to three years of experience in the hospitality industry
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
