Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Bartender to deliver friendly, efficient service in a hotel setting in Charlotte, NC. You will greet guests, prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, assist with light snacks, and ensure orders are prompted and accurate.

The ideal candidate is 21+, possesses strong mixology skills, can stand for long periods, communicates effectively with guests and coworkers, and works a varied schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
• In-depth knowledge of alcohol and craft cocktail bars; strong mixology skills.
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours.
• Effective communication with guests and teammates.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

• Operate cash registers, collect payments from customers, and return change
• Manage bar operation; including ordering and maintaining liquor and bar supplies

What are the requirements for this position?

• You must be a minimum of 21 years of age in order to serve alcoholic beverages
• You have in-depth knowledge of alcohol and craft cocktail bars and possess strong mixology skills
• You can be on your feet for up to eight hours
• You can communicate effectively with guests and other associates
• You must be able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.

Physical Requirements For This Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position would require little to no travel.
