Job description

We're seeking an ambitious Bartender for Protégé and Bar Underdog, our upcomingcocktail bar concept from the team at Protégé.

Inspired by our favorite cocktail bars in Tokyo, London, and New York City, we willapply a similarlevel of creativity and technique to beverage as the Chefdoes in ourMichelin-starred restaurant. Harnessing the best of Japanese and American bartending styles, we will blendtraditional and cutting-edge techniques with the style and ease of modern mixology.

We will havea dedicated ‘lab’ for our bartending team to use for development and innovation. The space will be equipped with state-of-the-arttools including a rotary evaporator, culinary centrifuges, CRYOVAC vacuum chamber system, culinary dehydrator, forced-carbonation equipment, and a canning machine.

Ourideal candidate is warm, outgoing, and creative. High-level bartending experience (i.e. cocktail batching, hydrocolloids, culinary centrifuge,culinarydehydrator, etc...) and some fine dining experience is preferred. However, as our name implies, we're looking for someonewho we can mentor and help to reach their full potential. A passion for learning and the ambition to grow is essential!

Please note: This is a full-time position. We do notoffer part-time roles.
