Job summary

Bella Vista Country Club in Bella Vista, AR is seeking a part-time Bartender to deliver timely, accurate beverages and friendly service under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager or Lead Bartender.

The role requires 21+, extensive bartending knowledge, excellent customer service, money handling, and the ability to upsell. Prior POS experience preferred; weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Upsell food and beverage items.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bartender provides timely , accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests. May require independent judgment in the disposition of routine matters without direct supervision. Will work under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager or the Lead Bartender.

REQUIREMENTS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Requires an extensive knowledge of bartending
• Perform the job successfully and must always work safely
• Must have excellent customer service skill
• Must have basic reading and math skills and ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• The ability to communicate and understand predominant language(s) of our guests
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50
• Weekends are amust

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Basic computer skills and ability to operate a point-of-sales system
• Basic understanding of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Multi-task oriented
• Must be able to upsell food and beverage items
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
