Job summary

Uponor, Inc. in Minnesota seeks an operator for barrier extrusion, lacquer coating lines, and VLD extruders. You will run screw extruders and dies, and ensure process and product quality while maintaining equipment in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years manufacturing experience or mastery of production, quality or distribution areas.
• 1–2 years teaching or on-the-job training in manufacturing preferred.
• Lean concepts, ISO Quality Systems, Continuous Improvement, and Bronze certification are expected.
• Forklift Certification and Forklift Train the Trainer Certification expected or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Operates Barrier, LD, VLD extruders and lacquer coating line.
• Maintains and improves processes to meet quality standards.
• Prioritizes daily activities to align with function and business strategy.
• Models Uponor values and engages diverse audiences through collaboration.
