Job summary

Uponor is seeking a manufacturing operator to run barrier, LD and VLD extrusion lines and a lacquer coating line in a fast-paced facility in Minnesota. The role emphasizes maintaining process quality, safety standards and continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma principles.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, 1–2 years of training or coaching, basic MS Office skills, and relevant Lean/quality certifications. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years manufacturing experience.
• 1–2 years teaching or on-the-job training experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Experience with Lean, ISO Quality Systems, CI, 6-Sigma and Bronze Certification; Forklift certifications required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Operate Barrier, LD, VLD extrusion lines and lacquer coating line.
• Maintain and improve barrier, lacquer and VLD extrusion processes.
• Uphold quality standards and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership to align objectives with functional and business strategy.
