Job summary

HorseAbility in New York seeks an experienced Barn Manager to oversee daily care, health, safety, and well-being of our equine partners. You will lead barn operations, oversee horse care, conditioning, and coordinate with veterinarians.

The role includes managing facility and equipment, inventory, and supervising staff and volunteers. Strong horsemanship, leadership, and organizational skills are essential; a degree in Equine Studies/Science/Management or equivalent experience preferred.

HorseAbility is seeking an experienced Barn Manager to oversee the daily care, health, safety, and wellbeing of our equine partners.

The Barn Manager leads daily barn operations, including horse care and conditioning, health and veterinary coordination, facility and equipment management, inventory, and supervision of barn staff and volunteers.

Qualifications: Extensive hands-on horse experience, strong horsemanship skills, and knowledge of equine health, behavior, and barn operations. Leadership, management, and organizational skills required. A degree in Equine Studies/Science/Management preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Hands-on position; outdoor work in all weather.
