Starbucks in Downtown Spartanburg is hiring a Barista to join a tight-knit team. If you love coffee, enjoy connecting with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. • Deliver legendary customer service by having a customer-comes-first attitude—connecting with the customer, discovering needs, and responding to those needs.
• Contribute to a positive environment by recognizing changes in coworkers’ morale and performance and communicating those changes to the supervisor or manager.
• Assist with the training of new team members.
• Follow Starbucks’ operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that coworkers can locate resources and products.
• Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to continue operational standards and to set a positive example for the store’s team.
• Follow all cash management policies.
• Adhere to all recipe and presentation standards.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

What are the requirements for this position?

Physical Requirements for this Position

This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
