Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service in retail and/or hospitality.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• You learn quickly, build relationships, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act with integrity, honesty and competence—promoting the culture, values and mission of Starbucks.
• Deliver legendary customer service by having a customer-comes-first attitude—connecting with the customer, discovering needs, and responding to those needs.
• Contribute to a positive environment by recognizing changes in coworkers’ morale and performance and communicating those changes to the supervisor or manager.
• Assist with the training of new team members.
• Follow Starbucks’ operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that coworkers can locate resources and products.
• Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to continue operational standards and to set a positive example for the store’s team.
• Follow all cash management policies.
• Adhere to all recipe and presentation standards.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Continually reviews the store’s environment to identify problems, concerns and opportunities.
