Job summary

Palisociety\'s Hart and The Hunter is seeking a Barista/Server to craft espresso drinks and deliver a warm, welcoming guest experience at Palihotel Melrose. You’ll be the upbeat, detail-oriented presence guests remember.

You will take orders, learn our service steps, prep beverages, adjust flavors to guest preferences, and keep the coffee bar and side areas organized and stocked. Collaborate with restaurant and hotel teams to communicate guest feedback, ensure health and safety, and support

Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
A clear thinker who stays calm under pressure and collaborates with a team.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Create a warm, welcoming guest experience, from greeting to farewell, turning first-time guests into regulars.
Learn our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
Take orders, prepare espresso drinks, and serve coffee and other refreshments, adjusting milk, sugar, and shot ratios to guest preference.
Keep the coffee bar and side-work areas restocked, replenished, prepped, and organized, working with the team to keep everything running smoothly.
Communicate openly with restaurant managers on customer feedback, and collaborate with hotel staff so overnight guests know about our offerings and promotions.
Comply with health and safety regulations, and accurately receive and process payments.
