ARRIVE by Palisociety in Austin is seeking a Barista/Server to unite the coffee bar and floor service. You will prepare espresso drinks and refreshments while delivering a warm, guest-centered experience, creating memorable moments for both guests and locals.

POSITION PROFILE:
The Barista/Server brings the coffee bar and floor service together at ARRIVE Austin, preparing espresso drinks and refreshments while creating a warm, welcoming guest experience. You'll be the upbeat, detail-oriented presence guests remember.
THE TASK AT HAND:
Create a warm, welcoming guest experience, from greeting to farewell, that turns first-time guests into regulars.
Learn our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
Take orders, prepare espresso drinks, serve coffee and other refreshments, gladly adjusting milk, sugar, and shot ratios to guest preference.
Keep the coffee bar and side-work areas restocked, replenished, prepped, and organized, working with the team to keep everything running smoothly.
Communicate openly with restaurant managers on customer feedback and collaborate with hotel staff so overnight guests know about our offerings and promotions.
Comply with health and safety regulations and accurately receive and process payments.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Required
Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow directions through to completion.
A clear thinker who stays calm under pressure, resolves problems with good judgment, and works cohesively as part of a team.
Flexible schedule, available to work a variety of shifts.
Preferred
Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
Physical
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 25 lbs., and continuously stand, walk, and bend for an 8-hour shift.
