Gregorys Coffee in Washington, DC seeks a hospitality-focused barista to uphold our standards, perfect latte art, and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will operate espresso equipment, manage stock, assist with cleanliness, and ensure accurate orders while maintaining a fast, friendly service rhythm.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork in a busy cafe, with adherence to health and safety guidelines and a non-exempt, full/part-time schedule.

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions and pricing.
• Excellent time management and communication abilities are essential in a high-volume cafe setting.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and maintain Gregorys Coffee standards and protocols.
• Speak knowledgeably about the coffee program and all coffees served.
• Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, scales, timers, and POS systems.
• Restock store areas and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Take guest orders accurately and ensure complete, correct orders.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally or escalate to a supervisor.
• Receive deliveries, check quality, and log temperature checks.
• Craft beverages with care in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to health department standards and dress code.
