You will operate espresso equipment, manage orders, maintain cleanliness, and work with a team that values hospitality and quality. Prior cafe experience welcome; health code standards apply; flexible hours and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly with guests and teammates.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or staff.
• Ability to calculate figures and understand basic math concepts.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.
• Knowledge of Square POS and Timestation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain company standards and protocols.
• Understand and speak knowledgeably about the coffee program and shop coffees.
• Operate brewing equipment, grinders, scales, timers, POS, and mobile payments.
• Restock all areas of the store, including pastry case and merchandiser.
• Take guest orders and ensure accuracy, resolve complaints with tact.
• Receive deliveries, verify quality and invoice accuracy.
• Maintain health department standards and keep the store clean and organized.
