Mozz in Newport is seeking a Barista to join our Italian-inspired café and market. This in-person role trains you to serve hot and cold beverages, describe our menu, and ensure an excellent guest experience.

We value friendly service, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Pay starts at $16–$18/hour plus tips; benefits include health insurance and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience as Barista or waitstaff preferred; training provided.
• Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Able to work flexible shifts.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong ability to gauge guests preferences.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests as they enter.
• Describe our food and beverage menus and know all ingredients.
• Take orders with attention to details.
• Prepare beverages following recipes.
• Serve beverages and prepared food.
• Receive and process payments.
• Train to learn cheese and deli offerings.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.
